You Say Crooked! — We Say Whitpain!
Whitpain Township’s government has failed multiple victims, raising serious concerns about neglect and potential discrimination.
Cases include:
– Black Veteran Donte Perez Jones – Death unsolved and uninvestigated
– Home invasion Black family – suspects uncharged or questioned
-, Discrimination and Retaliation Lawsuit of mixed-race couple,
– Documented abuse of a handicapped child and his father
– Litigation to restrict Black individuals from the township,
– Discrimination Lawsuit – Jamil Van former Black Whitpain Police officer.
These incidents suggest a troubling pattern that demands accountability. Whitpain Township is located in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, a northern suburb of Philadelphia in Montgomery County.

Unsolved Robbery - Whitpain Township - Black Family

Despite clear video evidence and extensive documentation identifying Brent Bowers and Dr. Douglass George Cassera MD as the individuals responsible for a robbery resulting in over $30,000 in stolen property and damages, Whitpain Township Police leadership has refused to question or charge them with the felony offenses their actions warrant. Additionally, the department continues to withhold the official police report, despite multiple formal Open Records requests. As a result, we—the victims—have filed a federal civil rights lawsuit in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Whitpain Township. Our investigation, supported by independent investigators and corroborating sources, has also uncovered a disturbing and systemic pattern of racial discrimination within Whitpain Township.
Independent third-party investigators have concluded that one or more individuals may have been compensated in exchange for not charging or questioning Dr. Douglass George Cassera, M.D. Despite submitting three Open Records requests, Whitpain Township has failed to produce a police report related to the matter after two open records requests. The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office has also failed too respond to the request for the Police Report after an Open Records Request.
